[SOLVED] USB mouse won't select columns

    I have a Lenovo T60 running Lucid.
Running utilities which have selectable columns for ordering of output - specifically System Monitor and Dolphin in "detail" view mode.
I can select the required columns using the built-in Synaptics touchpad buttons. However, when using a USB mouse (Kensington wireless mouse) I cannot select columns. I can navigate to them, but to actually select them I need to click on the touchpad button.
Seems strange that behaviour should be inconsistent between the two devices. All ideas gratefully received.

For no immediately obvious reason, this now works as it should. I can only assume that a recent update has fixed whatever the bug was, but can see no obvious candidate for this. Still, all's well that ends well, eh?
