Hello there,
I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but my question applies to Wine 1.2.0 under Kubuntu 10.04. I installed Rosetta Stone under Wine, and it works fine--except for one problem. My microphone is a USB Webcam/mic (Logitech Communicate STX). When I open Rosetta Stone, it only shows my ALSA Analog-Digital port (which doesn't work) and not my USB Mic at all.
I've placed checks in the ALSA and OSS boxes in Wine Configuration (under Audio) because the OSS contains USB midi and mixers. I checked in Settings, and my USB Mic is the preferred device (along with the USB Mic using the ALSA drivers). The mic works in other applications (outside of Wine).
So, my question is how do I get Wine and consequently Rosetta Stone to recognize and use my mic?
Thanks, and have a great day
Patrick.
