[SOLVED] ASRock Core 100HT

Hi @ll !

I've a sound problem with my ASRock Core 100HT (http://www.asrock.com/nettop/overvie...ore%20100HT-BD) and can't find any solution.

I'm using the latest Kubuntu 10.04 as for the 2010-08-28.

Sound output should be over HDMI but even the analog sound output isn't working.

Output device is recognized as:
HDA Intel, INTEL HDMI (HDMI Audio Output)
HDA Intel (INTEL HDMI)
HDA Intel (HDA Generic)

I even tried to change the preference order but nothing seems to work.

By the way Video output is ok

Was working with the latest Linux driver (2.6) version 5.15rc15 from Realtek on:

http://www.realtek.com.tw/DOWNLOADS/...&GetDown=false

Currently with Kubuntu 10.10 it wont work

Were you able to duplicate the procedure for fixing it that you used on 10.04?

yes.. but kernel seems not be supported by the realtek drivers.. we have to wait for new drivers as they are from September 2010..
