Kubuntu 10.04 LTS (32-bit)
KDE 4.4.5
HP Officejet Pro 8000 (connected by ethernet)
HPILP 3.10.2
I know very well that my printer is installed and configured but .....
Sometimes when I boot Kubuntu, my printer has "disappeared", sometimes it's there.
When it's disappeared, I look in the HP Device Manager and it tells me "No installed HP Devices found".
I then look in "System Settings" -> "Printer Configuration" and there's no printer listed.
I have my router configured to assign a static IP to the printer, so it can't be that.
This is becoming a tad irritating and I would greatly appreciate some ideas/suggestions.
Thanks .....
