rt73usb / rt2x00 not working properly

    rt73usb / rt2x00 not working properly

    Since 10.04 I had a lot of trouble with my TP-Link WN321G.
    Despite a great signal strength, it would disconnect and reconnect frequently; and the 'ping' to the access point would vary like
    5 ms
    67 ms
    124 ms
    6734 ms
    7342 ms
    1295 ms
    567 ms

    In the end, no other choice than plugging another WiFi dongle, in this case a (3Com) zd1211rw; immediately everything is fine.
