    odd usb behaviour

    Hi There,

I have realized some weird behaviour of my usb hardware:
#1: On boot up, KDE logs on and everything works fine except it takes like 2 minutes for my mouse and keyboard to become active and usable...once they've been activated, everything works just fine - how come? How can i force these drivers to load earlier?
#2: Since I've updated to 10.04 my black berrty usb doesn't show up anymore in the "Device Notifier" even tho /var/log/messages loos fine upon plugin:
    Code:
May 23 14:04:13 reg-desktop kernel: [138977.820528] usb 1-1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 8
    May 23 14:04:13 reg-desktop kernel: [138977.953579] usb 1-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
May 23 14:04:13 reg-desktop kernel: [138977.963174] scsi7 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
    May 23 14:04:14 reg-desktop kernel: [138978.213725] usb 1-1: usbfs: interface 1 claimed by usb-storage while 'bcharge' sets config #1
May 23 14:04:15 reg-desktop kernel: [138979.332528] usb 1-1: reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 8
    and also dmesg is fine:
    Code:
[138977.820528] usb 1-1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 8
    [138977.953579] usb 1-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[138977.963174] scsi7 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
    [138977.963274] usb-storage: device found at 8
[138977.963278] usb-storage: waiting for device to settle before scanning
[138978.213725] usb 1-1: usbfs: interface 1 claimed by usb-storage while 'bcharge' sets config #1
[138979.332528] usb 1-1: reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 8
What's going on here? These two problems may be unrelated but i would like to resolve to both of them.
Thanks for help, hints and suggestions!
