OK. On my desktop system I usually have suspended to RAM without issues. System always was snappy and responsive. Under 10.04 LL once I resume the system is VERY slow and this is a fairly powerful system. Upon investigating what could be going on I notice Xorg taking up nearly 40% processor time. It only does this on a resume from RAM. I have not tested a Suspend to Disk and I have not tested this on my laptop as I rarely suspend to RAM on it any way. It seems that I've read something about Xorg causing issues but I can't seem to find anything relevant or I evidently not using good search strings. Anybody else have similar problems?
