    Low Volume problem in 10.04

Hello friends, i have some strange problems with low volume level in Lucid.
It appears after upgrade, fresh installation, with old configure files from Karmic and with absolutely new user, but there are no problems with live-cd and GNOME distribution.

KMix and alsamixer - all in max, but it looks like even urandom > dsp has the same result.

Did you activate ALL of the controls in Alsamixer, and run the "Digital" control to the top of the green?

      I had the same issue...

      Open Terminal and type alsamixer
Use your arrow keys to turn up the volumes on everything.

However on remember it probably wont save it. You might have to redo the same thing.

      Short term problem fix.

Let me know how it goes.

Mixer > Settings > Configure Channels

Add SPEAKER to te right pane.

Rise the volume and you are ready to go.

        Let me know if works.
