I'm trying out Kubuntu Lucid 10.04 beta on my Lenovo T410s ThinkPad. The new options for the touchpad in the mouse settings are very cool. However, they aren't working. I tried enabling two-finger scrolling etc, but these gestures do not seem to kick in. The T410s comes with a Synaptic multi-touch pad so they should be working. Is there a special trick to this, like turning on SMHconfig, or hacking a config file? I've tried most of the stuff I can think of, but nothing has been successful yet.

Re: Enable Multi-Touch Options for Touchpad
I too have a Synaptic mutli-touch pad on my laptop.... but to be honest I haven't put much thought into playing with multi-touch settings in KDE. However, I did have a page bookmarked regarding setting it up (if I get bored some day):
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SynapticsTouchpad
Hope that guide helps, and let me know how it went... I'm kind of curious now
