Hello,
I am on Kubuntu Lucid 10.04, updated fully as of today (7.04.2010). The machine is a Mac mini with Apple Wireless Keyboard.
My problem is that, after some time, the up arrow key stops working and the down arrow key stops repeating (each press generates one down-arrow event, but then doesn't repeat any more). This happens in Konsole (can't recall previous commands with the up-arrow) and in e.g. Firefox (can't scroll up and scrolling down is done by one line by keypress). Sometimes, the left arrow will also stop working and the right arrow will stop repeating as well.
Switching to a terminal (ALT-CTRL-F1) both keys work properly. PGUP and PGDOWN (which on this keyboard are attained by pressing fn-up and fn-down) work properly. Also in Konsole pressing shift-up and shift-down works properly.
Now for the really interesting part: in firefox, when the address bar is dropped down, I can scroll both up and down on it properly. But, as mentioned above, I can't scroll any page in Firefox.
I connected a USB keyboard and somehow the down arrow key became "unstuck" and now repeats properly, but the up arrow remains dead (both the the wireless keyboard and on the USB keyboard).
Also, sometimes (e.g. after logout and login) the up arrow will start KSnapshot!
I fiddled with keyboard layouts, but changing those doesn't improve the situation.
Any input will be welcome. I'm thinking I should file a bug on Launchpad, but I don't even know what package to file it against.
Thank you for any suggesstions.
