well looks like we got our Kubuntu boot splash with the last round of updates 
allthough it's onley visabel for a 1/2 a second or so sence it's booting SO fast
I like the color though as it prity well matches my custom grub screen and kdm login background 8) ............ so I dont think I'll half to try to hack it........ LOL .......
