    Amarok 2.2.2 on Lucid

    Hi All,

I seem to have got the latest KDE4.4 updates working now in my 64-bit Lucid today.

However, there seems to be a small regression in the latest Amarok 2.2.2. which otherwise seems to work fine -- the ability to choose files at random seems to have disappeared from all the menus, so I can no longer listen to a random selection from over 900 songs! >

Just a very minor point - unless I'm not seeing what's in front of me!

Do you mean Amarok > Playlists > Dynamic Playlists (Random) ? Or something else ?

Here (i386) it seems to work.

    :~$ amarok --version
    Qt: 4.6.1
KDE Development Platform: 4.4.00 (KDE 4.4.0)
    Amarok: 2.2.2
    Before you edit, BACKUP !

Thanks Rog. That's what I was looking for! Just wasn't obvious to me. How sad!

Anyway, all is working very well now; this version of Amarok seems to be more polished and several things seem to run better - like the Cover Manager and the Equaliser. So "Thanks all round" to the developers I guess!!
