    boot up time for lucid?

    hi friends..
    first of all.. wish you a happy new year!!!
    i jussssstttttt lovvvvvvvvvve this kubuntu community.

    i wanted to know whether boot up time for lucid lynx has improved..
    is it close to 10 seconds as it was claimed?
    just curious :P


    P.S.: i donno where to put this question.. so posted here.

      Phoronix made a comparison with 9.10 and the 10.04 alpha here

      I have not done any scientific research but the "general feel" and look on the mem/cpu use it feels it's much less resource consuming. Promessing future for Lucid I must say, and I anticipate a contest on the laptops and maybe netbooks with the win7(?)
