hmm .. I wonder if it was this release that borked my amarok on Lucid

since yesterday I've had more trouble with sound and especially Amarok .. wont complain tho, it's alpha stage. Before I could alsamixer F6 and choose sound device ... today that didn't work :S

kewl tho as more will use, debug and develop it! (wish I had the know-how to develop) :-X

I downloaded the iso and burned a LiveDVD of it. It runs very well on my Sony VAIO VGN-140E/H.
I did notice that KMixer does not have as many controls as it did in 9.10 or 9.04.
I made a LiveUSB and now I am writing this post running under the LiveUSB.

my sound hates me ... i have to keep setting pulseaudios default output to my sound card. for some reason it wants to use the HDMI passthrou on my video card...

ne one know how to make that change stick , as it stands now i have to do it once on each boot...

The basic idea is to set the card you DON'T want to be card #1, and the card you DO want will become #0 (the default). That will be clearer when you read through the stuff in the thread.
